Web Design
The Tour De Shore is an annual cycling race that takes place along the Irish Loop area from Riverhead to Goulds. This project was very exciting for Newfie Designs as this website was a point of contact for cyclist from around the world. Using the existing Tour De Shore logo we designed the website to add the scenery of the area as the focal point.
The site incorporates a photo gallery, guest book, sign-up form and google map feature in the final product.

Y Creations, located in Trepassey Newfoundland, provides crafts, embroidery and desktop publishing services. We found it a pleasure to work with this company and its owner Yvonne Fontaine. The site itself encompasses many design features including a custom banner and button menu as well as many programming scripts. These include a lightbox gallery, a custom guestbook, and order form.
The site is xhtml strict valid and is hosted on the Puffin Host server.

Cabot House Cafe & Suites is a bed and breakfast style business located in Bay Bulls, Newfoundland; operated by Wayne & Cherie O'Driscoll. For Newfie Designs this project gave us an opportunity to explore Newfoundland's past as this newly renovated house is one of the oldest houses in Bay Bulls. We wanted to design a website that expressed both the historical significance as well as the newly renovated look of the house today. Using our built in lightbox galleries you can explore this house and view it as it was in the late 1800's and as it is today.

Ya Host Me is a beta project, developed through Puffin Host as a low cost hosting solution. Newfie Deisgns has constructed all the major backend components of this project, as well as the design. The site utilizes the latest in web application technology as well as displaying a Web 2.0 design. The backend intergrates a content management system, a billing system, ajax features and a forum intergrated together. This close intergration allows for easy signup to the service, and a single login for the whole site.

The Newfie Designs Development Site displays the newest projects being cooked up at Newfie Designs, managed by lead programmer Clemens Lang, this site was constructed to meet W3C standards. Utilizing the latest ajax libraries, php classes, and modular design using our content management system this site displays the cutting edge of website technology. Keep watching this site for upcoming developments on new projects, modules and updates to our CMS.

Newfie Designs has worked with Puffin Host on previous projects, there main website has under gone many changes over time and now Newfie Designs has created there new improved site. The design includes use of a innovative css menu, as well as intergration into the companies billing system. Along with the site, Newfie Designs has implemented and continues to maintain the Puffin Host Community forums, wiki, and control panel.
