• ISP Development
  Newfie designs has recently implementd a new open source control panel on all of its servers. To better customize this panel to meet all customer needs we are working together with the open source community at ISPconfig to add new features.
• Puffin Host Wiki
  We are working on a complete overhaul of all the wiki with new information on all our new hosting features. This includes new documentation for the ISPconfig control panel.
• TrackYour.tv
  Trackyour.tv is a new project being developed by Newfie Designs to allow users to better track what shows they watch on tv, and to schedule/find new epsiodes of that show.

Puffin Host Free Hosting

Puffin host, the hosting branch of Newfie Designs recently relaunched its community forums to offer once again free hosting for personal websites. In relaunching the forums we optimized the forum database and updated the forum software to the latest version of the Invision Power Board software.

Along with the new forums, Newfie Designs has moved to a new control panel for managing web hosting, beta tests were carried out by our free users. Using feedback from these test, we have decided to move all our server management to ISPconfig control panel.

Talking Technology

Two members of the Newfie Designs team have recently undertaken the art of blogging. Both blogs offer technical insight into up and coming technologies as they gain traction on the Internet.

Clemens Lang offers a blog at his personal website, http://neverpanic.de. His blog goes indepth into his experiences in using the latest technologies, every writeup is well thought through expressing both pratical uses and downfalls of each experience.

Jared Perry offers a blog expressing the business end of these new technologies, shedding light on how new businesses are using these technologies to cut cost and make profit. His blog is loacted at http://jaredperry.ca
